Artist Gregorio Codagnone brings to his solo exhibition in Rome works rich in chromaticism, imbued with vital force and a message in defense of nature. The protection of our natural beauty also happens through art, and the indissoluble link between these two concepts becomes the protagonist in the works on display.
The images that take shape on the canvases recall corals, flames, or elements belonging to the natural world—examples of beauty but also of fragility, as they are destined to change under the action of climate change. In each work, color becomes the spokesperson for a feeling of the soul and materializes in an abstract form through gesture.
Gregorio Codagnone is self-taught and combines colors, materials, and techniques, drawing lessons and inspiration from everything around him. The artist lets forms and colors speak for him, forms born from the desire to seek positive and vital energies that materialize through an artistic gesture charged with emotion. The viewer is thus invited to project their imagination onto the works, fostering a dialogue that features Nature, Art, and Life as its protagonists.
