Sweet reflection
The artist continues his study of colors with the introduction of layered color bases.
These water-based colors blend with each other to create countless soft and gradual nuances, thus ensuring slow and unhurried chromatic changes. The violent and repetitive dripping, in addition to the normal dripping, ensures that the multitude of colors adhere strongly to the support and appear in relief and very material compared to the background. The bases of this diptych are inspired by the study of the painter Helen Frankenthaler in her exhibition "Painting Without Rules" – Florence, Palazzo Strozzi.
