Stars in a room
Artist Gregorio Codagnone brings to his Roman solo exhibition works rich in vibrant colours, imbued with vital force and a message in defence of nature. The protection of our natural beauty also comes through art, and the indissoluble link between the two concepts becomes the protagonist in the exhibited works.
The images that take shape on the canvases recall corals, flames or elements belonging to the natural world – examples of beauty but at the same time of fragility, as they are destined to change under the action of climate change. In each work, colour becomes the spokesperson for a sentiment of the soul and takes abstract form through gesture.
Gregorio Codagnone is self-taught and combines colours, materials and techniques, drawing lessons and inspiration from everything around him. The artist lets forms and colours speak for him, forms born from the desire to seek positive and vital energies that materialise through an artistic gesture full of emotion. The viewer is thus invited to project their imaginations onto the works, fostering, with them, the birth of a dialogue whose protagonists are Nature, Art and Life.
