Unattainable goals

On this surface, matter takes shape and forces us to follow often labyrinthine paths. The common thread is black, which, along with the plaster material layer, indicates a path from which it is impossible to escape, except by climbing over layers of color that encourage one to move towards other spaces presumably indicated and guided only by the viewer's imagination.
