Abstract Pointillism
The artwork presented by the artist clearly reflects one of his lifelong passions and a constant subject of study: pointillism.
The piece is composed of two canvases of equal dimensions, 70x70cm, which, after months of layering different colored dots, form an abstract figure protruding from the canvas. The effect created is one of great depth and three-dimensionality, thanks to very dense and hard acrylics. The painting itself is a contradiction; pointillism, precise and intended to form a clear and flat design, is used here to create a colorful and textured abstract figure.
