Happy rays
With this work, the artist continues his journey towards three-dimensionality and the power emanating from the work itself, thanks to its protrusions and excrescences.
The painting is executed on a wooden support to which super elastic and resistant plaster is applied. The painter circularly casts acrylic paint of various shades to form circles, and thanks to spatulas of various shapes and sizes, it is removed (along with the plaster) from the center of the work towards its edges. The colors delight the observer, who wonders: will the rays truly be happy even after their interruption caused by the edge of the work itself?
