Three-Dimensional Study 01
A collection of just 5 works of equal size. The works are made on recycled wood with white edges.
In all five three-dimensional studies, the artist creates depth and consequently great lateral thickness thanks to the use of super resistant and elastic plaster precisely trowelled. The colors used are different, sometimes reused in subsequent studies but always combined with different shades. Four of the five works feature rays from the central point of the support that radiate outwards, thus moving the color randomly and unevenly. Only one of the five creations features lateral trowel marks along the short side of the support, sharply breaking the composition of the collection.
