Tempesta interiore

Inner storm

Artist Gregorio Codagnone brings to his Roman solo exhibition works rich in vibrant colours, infused with a vital force and a message in defense of nature. The protection of our natural beauty also happens through art, and the indissoluble link between these two concepts becomes the protagonist in the works on display.
The images that take shape on the canvases evoke corals, flames, or elements belonging to the natural world – examples of beauty but also of fragility, as they are destined to change under the action of climate change. In each work, colour becomes the spokesperson for a feeling of the soul and materializes in an abstract form through gesture.
Gregorio Codagnone is self-taught and combines colours, materials, and techniques, drawing lessons and inspiration from everything around him. The artist lets forms and colours speak for him, forms born from the desire to seek positive and vital energies that materialize through an artistic gesture full of emotion. The viewer is thus invited to project their imaginations onto the works, fostering a dialogue between Nature, Art, and Life.

A branch from a BOSSO plant from the Corsi garden in Florence, dating back to the 1800s, is added, and the entire piece is enclosed in a plexiglass display case.
