The artist feels an irrepressible need to pay homage to one of his favorite and most inspiring artists. He therefore decides to create a work, always in an abstract style and using the dripping technique, that reinterprets the forms of Alberto Giacometti's famous sculpture, "L'homme qui indique" (The Man Pointing). The strong blue color, splashed from a brush that never touches the canvas (almost as if he didn't want to "compete" with the honored artist), perfectly conveys the concept of the universe of emaciated and suffering men found in the Swiss artist's work.
